ST. LOUIS – The No. 19 University of Missouri-St. Louis women's golf team finished second out of 10 teams with a score of 911 (309-301-301) on Tuesday at Chariot Run Golf Club in Laconia, Ind.
Freshman
Emmy Wahl was the Tritons top finisher coming in second with a 54-hole score of 220 (76-71-73) and finished two shots ahead of Findlay's Ashleigh Duflo, Ellie Yeazell and Gracie James.
Mayan Covarrubias was tied for ninth at 228 (79-73-76) and
Wilma Zanderau finished a shot back at 229 (77-77-75) to finish in a tie for 12th.
Hillary Currier and
Hope Williams finished in the top 30 of the event. Currier shot a 237 (77-79-81) for a 24th place finish while Williams had a final score of 242 (81-84-77).
Findlay's Erin Mulcahy was the individual medalist with a 54-hole score of 215 (72-74-69) and the Oilers were the team champs with a team score of 882 (293-297-292).
The Tritons play their final event of the regular season on Sunday and Monday (April 13-14) hosting the UMSL Spring Invitational at Norwood Hills Country Club in St. Louis.
