COAL VALLEY, Ill. – The top seeded University of Missouri-St. Louis women's golf team fell to second seeded UIndy 3-2 on Sunday in the GLVC championship match/medal play at Oakwood Country Club in Coal Valley, Ill.

UMSL advanced to the championship match defeating fourth seeded Illinois Springfield 4-1 in the morning semifinal round while the Greyhounds defeated third seeded Drury 4-1.

The Tritons got match wins from Emmy Wahl, Wilma Zanderau, Brooke Inchiostro and Mayan Covarrubias.

In the championship match Hillary Currier won her match by four strokes while Zanderau won hers by 11 shots.

UMSL will officially learn of its NCAA Tournament bid tomorrow afternoon when the field is announced. The NCAA East Regional will be held May 5-7 at The Meadows Golf Club in Allendale, Mich.
