ST. LOUIS – University of Missouri-St. Louis junior
Hannah Tse has been named to the All-Great Lakes Valley Conference Women's Tennis team, announced Thursday by the league office.
Tse earns All-GLVC honors for the second time in her career. She owns a 10-7 singles record primarily at No. 1, including 2-3 in conference play and is 10-7 in doubles with partner
Aleksandra Lopez.
Additionally,
Anna Favaron was one of 12 student-athletes named as their team's James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award honoree for distinguishing themselves through sportsmanship and ethical behavior. These individuals are also in good academic standing and have demonstrated good citizenship outside of the sports competition setting. They are now eligible to become one of their school's two Spalding Sportsmanship Award winners, which will be announced at the end of the academic year.
UMSL finished the regular season with a record of 10-6 overall, including 3-2 in GLVC play. The Tritons are the No. 3 East seed in this weekend's GLVC Tournament and will open play against No. 2 West Drury on Friday at 1 p.m. at Sacred Heart Griffin High School in Springfield, Ill.
