BOULDER CITY, Nev. – The No. 21 University of Missouri-St. Louis women's golf team is tied for 13th with a total team score of 295 (+7) after the first round of the 2025 NCAA Division II Women's Golf Championships on Tuesday at the Desert Hawk Coyote Run Course at Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nev.
Wilma Zanderau leads the way for the Tritons shooting a 71 and is one under par and tied for 22nd after the opening round.
Juliette Lecomte finished her round shooting a 73 and is tied for 35th while
Hillary Currier and
Mayan Covarrubias shot 74 and 77 respectively and
Emmy Wahl had a score of 78.
Anderson's Zoey Iglesias and Cal State East Bay's Torrie Bowman are tied for the individual lead with a 67 and hold a shot over Grand Valley's Olivia Stoll, Dallas Baptist's Ella Cheek, West Texas A&M's Anna Nomrowski and Cal State San Marcos' Regan Barton. The Trojans and Cougars are tied for the team lead after 18 holes with total team scores of 280.
Wednesday's second round will tee off at 9:30 a.m. (CDT) with UMSL set to start teeing off at 11:10 a.m. (CDT).
