ST. LOUIS – The No. 19 University of Missouri-St. Louis women's golf team finished 12th with a 36-hole total team score of 601 (301-300) at the DBU Classic at Oakmont Golf Club in Corinth, Texas on Tuesday. The event was shortened to 36 holes due to yesterday's rain.
Hillary Currier led the way for the Tritons finishing with a score of 147 (76-71) to finish in a tie for 25th. She was followed by
Wilma Zanderau who shot a 148 (74-74) to place in a tie for 31st.
Emmy Wahl shot a 76 in her final round to finish with a total score of 153,
Mayan Covarrubias also finished with a score of 153 after shooting a 79 on Tuesday.
Hope Williams finished at 157 (78-79).
DBU's Madison Ude was the individual medalist with a score of 135 (68-67) and won by four shots over North Georgia's Cora Mount. The Patriots won the team championship with a total score of 566 (284-282).
UMSL returns to action on Monday and Tuesday (Oct. 6-7) competing at the Beall Fall Classic at the Findlay Country Club in Findlay, Ohio.
