Women’s Golf Earns 16th Straight NCAA Tournament Bid

INDIANAPOLIS – With the 2026 NCAA Division II Women's Golf Championships field announcement on Sunday, the University of Missouri-St. Louis women's golf team is set to make the program's 16th straight postseason trip and will be one of 72 teams vying for a spot at the NCAA Championships.

The East Regional will be held at the Findlay Country Club in Findlay, Ohio, with the University of Findlay serving as the host. The 54-hole tournament runs May 4-6.

There will be four regional sites across the country consisting of both team and individual competition being conducted concurrently. 18 teams and six individuals who are not with those teams will compete in the East Region tournament. The top four teams, along with the top two individuals not with an advancing team will advance to the championships.

The 2026 NCAA Division II Women's Golf Championships will be held May 12-16 at PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. The number of participants that qualify for the finals is 98.

The Tritons are coming off their first Great Lakes Valley Conference championship after rallying to defeat UIndy 3-2 in the medal/match play final. UMSL owns a scoring average of 302.19 with an event win and nine top-10 finishes.
