Per GLVC Bylaws, each of the top-five finishers at the GLVC Championship automatically earn an All-Conference selection, with the individual medalist at the Conference Tournament earning First Team Honors. Coaches are not permitted to vote for their own players.
Halterman wins his sixth Coach of the Year award and sixth overall for UMSL. He led the Tritons to their fourth GLVC title and first since 2022 with a 4-1 win over top seeded Missouri S&T in the medal/match play final. UMSL, seeded second, defeated number three seed Drury 3-2 in the semifinal to advance to the championship match.
Halterman guided the Tritons to two event wins including the GLVC Championship, three runner-up finishes and four other top-five finishes. He mentored Lindahl, Mayo, Solavera, Baudry and Granlund to All-GLVC accolades.
