ST. LOUIS, MO. - The University of Missouri-St. Louis women's tennis team lost its first Great Lakes Valley Conference match of the year with a 6-3 setback to No. 33 ranked Drury on Friday.
The Tritons slip to 14-6 overall, including 3-1 in the GLVC, while Drury improves to 14-1 and 5-0 in the league.
UMSL won at No. 3 doubles (
Natalia Carvalhais/
Chandler Duchaine) and picked up singles victories at Nos. 2 (
Salome Bleuler) and 6 (
Annie Hays).
The Tritons are back on the court tomorrow, hosting Wisconsin-Whitewater at 11 a.m.
