MIDLAND, MICH. – The No. 49 ranked University of Missouri-St. Louis women's tennis team saw its season come to an end on Monday with a 5-4 loss to No. 14 Drury in first round action of the NCAA Tournament.
The Tritons, making just the program's second-ever NCAA appearance, finish with a 14-3 overall record, with all three losses coming to the Panthers by equal scores of 5-4.
Drury took a 2-1 lead after doubles, but singles wins by graduate student

Marina Prediger at No. 6 quickly made it 4-3 Tritons. The Panthers knotted the match at 4-4 with a three-set win at No. 3 singles with the contest coming down to No. 5 singles. Junior
Patricia Maya won her first set, 6-4, lost the second, 6-2, and held a 4-0 lead in the third set before Josephine Jedrychowski rallied for a 6-4 win.

Kristine Lindal earned an 8-4 win over the No. 7 ranked duo of Julia Schepp and Larissa Karl.
