ST. LOUIS – The No. 22 University of Missouri-St. Louis men's golf team finished fourth out of 10 teams with a 54-hole total team score of 894 (292-291-311) in the Dennis Rose Intercollegiate on Tuesday at the Waikoloa Golf Resort in Waikoloa Village, Hawaii.
Logan Mayo finished in a tie for second overall with a final score of 216 (69-70-77). He was followed by
Dani Solavera who shot 222 (75-71-76) to finish in a tie for 14th.
Benjamin Berger and
Leo Baudry were tied for 27th at 229. Berger had rounds of 75-75-79 and Baudry shot 76-75-78.
Trigg Lindahl had a score of 236 (73-78-85).
Colorado Christian's Peyton Jones was the individual medalist with a final score of 213 (74-68-67) winning by three shots over Mayo and CSU Monterey Bay's Alexander Cooke. The Otters and host Hawaii-Hilo finished in a tie for first place with a score of 879.
The Tritons conclude the fall portion of their schedule this Friday and Saturday at the Southwest Airlines HPU Sharks Shootout at the Pearl at Kalauao Golf Course in Aiea, Hawaii at 12:30 p.m. (CDT).
