ST. LOUIS – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's golf team wrapped up its trip to Hawaii with a third-place finish at the Southwest Airlines HPU Sharks Shootout on Friday and Saturday at the Pearl at Kalauao Golf club in Aiea, Hawaii. The Tritons finished with a 54-hole total team score of 912 (311-305-296).
Leo Baudry was the individual medalist finishing with a final score of 217 (72-71-74) to win his first collegiate event.
Trigg Lindahl and
Dani Solavera each finished in a tie for 12th at 229. Lindahl shot rounds of 78-73-78 while Solavera turned in scores of 81-79-69.
Benjamin Berger was tied for 22nd at 237 (80-82-75).
Baudry won by five shots over Hawaii-Hilo's Dylan Bercan who came in at 222 (81-72-69). Hawaii-Hilo was the team champion with a total team score of 892 (301-298-293).
The Tritons return to the links February 9-10 competing at the Houston Classic hosted by Southern Nazarene at the Golf Club of Houston in Humble, Texas.
