STUDENT-ATHLETE (Softball, 2012-15)
Butler rewrote the softball record books during her four-year career and teamed with fellow inductee Alex Stupek for two seasons to create havoc on opposing pitchers. At the conclusion of her playing career she was the program's leader in hits, home runs, RBIs and total bases and now ranks second in all of those categories behind Stupek. Butler, Stupek and UMSL Sports Hall of Famer Hannah Perryman (Class of 2020) helped lead the Tritons to earn the program's first and only No. 1 national ranking in 2015. She was a four-time All-GLVC selection, including three-time first team honoree, a three-time first team all-region selection and two-time All-American. Butler helped lead the Tritons to three straight GLVC Championships in 2013, 2014 and 2015 and two Super Regional appearances in 2014 and 2015.
