STUDENT-ATHLETE (Women's Golf)
A three-year member of the program, Vila was part of two NCAA Regional Tournament teams during her career. She graduated with a career scoring average of 79.8, which was third best all-time. As a junior during the 2009-10 season, she earned All-GLVC honors and was a two-time medalist, recording six top-10 finishes behind a 77.8 scoring average. She set a then school 36-hole record with a 145 at The Shootout at Auguila, which included a round of 70, the second lowest in program history. That year, Vila also helped UMSL to the program's first-ever selection in the NCAA Tournament, which was the start of eight straight bids. As a senior, she recorded seven top-10 finishes, including a pair of runner-up honors. Vila finished seventh at the GLVC Championships, while helping the team to a second place showing, which was the program's best finish. Academically, Vila was a Second Team Academic All-District honoree.
